Mrs Comfort O. EYITAYO FCS, OON mni

Comfort Eyitayo mni is an astute professional. She is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow and a past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) after serving as the 57th President of The Institute. Comfort is a recipient of the Nation’s Honours Award as Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON. She served as the National Treasurer of the Association for four years (2013 – 2017) after serving as the General Secretary for AANI Lagos Chapter (2010 - 2013).

She is a member of the Governing Council of Bowen University and also a Board member of GORAH Healthcare Limited. She was conferred an Honouree Degree of Ph.D in Entrepreneurship Development and Management by United Nations POLAC. Likewise, she bagged the status of Fellow, of the Institute of Certified Business Consultants, Nigeria. She is the Founder and Chief Executive, COE Consulting. She is a recipient of many distinguished Awards. She is an accomplished Author and Publisher.

Internationally, Eyitayo served her profession through top level engagements including serving as the President of the Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (ABWA) after previously serving as the Treasurer of the Association. She was a Board Member of Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and she currently serves as Technical Adviser to a Past President of ICAN on Professional Accountancy Organisation Development Advisory Group (PAODAG), one of the Advisory Groups of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) which is the World Body for all Professional Accountancy Association (2018 – to-date). She served as a Council member of IFAC for 2021 – 2022. In addition, she is currently serving as a member of the Small and Medium Practice Advisory Group (SMPAG) of IFAC due to her wealth of experience in the professional practice space within the SMP category.
