Deji Awobotu is a distinguished finance and accounting professional with a career marked by leadership in both public and private sectors. A member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Governing Council from 2015 to 2024, he has made significant contributions to the advancement of the accounting profession in Nigeria. Notably, he convened the first Regulators and Operators Conference in 2016 and played a pivotal role in reviewing Lagos State’s readiness for the World Bank's SFTAS program and compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). His expertise extends to advisory roles, such as his appointment to the Lagos State Stamp Duties Collections and Recovery Committee.

In 2012, Deji founded ADRAC Professional Services Consulting, where he currently serves as Chief Executive, providing expert consulting services across various sectors. His extensive career includes leadership roles in financial institutions, such as Head of Financial Audit at BGL Group, Chief Finance Officer at Santrust Securities Limited, and Chief Internal Auditor at Pan Africa Capital Limited. He is also a Fellow of multiple professional institutes, including ICAN, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Directors, highlighting his commitment to continuous professional development.
